Justin is an interdisciplinary theatre artist and filmmaker based out of Boston, Massachusetts.
After several years performing, he shifted his focus into design and direction, collaborating on over 160 productions with companies throughout New England. Passionate about new work and immersive spaces, he gravitates toward pieces that provide a unique atmosphere for communal experience.
Previous collaborations include work with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Speakeasy Stage, Boston Conservatory, Suffolk University, Florida State College, Company One, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, Hub Theatre Company, Harbor Stage Company, Wheelock Family Theatre, Firehouse Center for the Arts, Seacoast Repertory Theatre, The Tank (NYC), and New Hampshire Theatre Project.
He is the recipient of the 2022 BroadwayWorld Boston award for best professional scenic design, as well as a 2022 Cannes Film Award and regional Emmy nomination in art direction for the feature film Not on This Night.
During the pandemic, Justin also built a career as a filmmaker and videographer, working with artists from across the globe to produce digital experiences capturing the immediacy of live performance on camera. This recent work has been viewed around the world, screening at film festivals in England, Germany, Russia, and venues throughout North America.
