Embracing the sense of childhood play and imagination at the core of the show, we pulled from early playground design as inspiration for the set. A muted color palette and minimalistic structures serve as a blank canvas for the actors, allowing the children to create their own worlds through the equipment. Within the playground, there are numerous elements that the children interact with, from swings and merry go rounds for 'flying', to slides, bridges, see-saws, benches, and mobile crates. All of these aspects work together alongside the actors, adapting throughout their adventures. As the show progresses, the costumes, props, and lighting grow more whimsical, following the children's dive into their imaginations.
